About the Role:

Creates and implements the end-to-end human capital strategy that will drive the business to meet its goals. This role requires strategic reasoning and thinking, the use of data to guide work, being a comfortable challenging convention, and, in some cases, influencing leaders to reassess how work is done.

We are eager to find an HR manager who easily connects with people and has a detail-oriented mindset to handle the changing nature of the workforce. You will bring compassion in your approach when addressing issues and solving problems in order to collaborate and bring people together.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, Plan and Execute Talent Attraction and Sourcing capabilities for all IT Skills at various levels
  • Should be able to proactively build a diverse candidate pool while leveraging all available talent channels
  • Enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices
  • Maintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
  • Support organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; and recommending changes
  • Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; and counseling employees and supervisors
  • Implement employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefits claims and designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs
  • Enforce management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
  • Protect the interest of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • You’re based in Ahmedabad, or plan to shift here in nearby future
  • You have 8+ years of experience including 5 years of progressive leadership experience in an HR position, robust knowledge of HR functions and best practices required in IT industry
  • You are organized and have strong communication skills, comfortable interfacing with all levels of leadership to provide thoughtful guidance on objectives
  • You have the ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with emotional or confrontational circumstances
  • You have the ability to lead and teach others in a collaborative and inspiring manner
  • You have the ability to use logic, reasoning, and empathy to identify alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • You have strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, while exercising sound judgment
  • You are competent to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • You can work independently and taking ownership of given tasks
  • You are a self-motivated and strong collaborator, with the ability to manage expectations and conflicting needs
